Planning Consent and Building Regulations

If your Pool Dome is not more than 3 metres in height, does not cover more than one third of the garden and is for private use only, planning permission is not normally required.

Relaxation of Building Regulations is also not required if the dome is no more then 49' in length or width. General Development Order 1973 Class 1-3 General and Class 6 of schedule 2 of the Building Regulations 2nd Amendment refers.
