Labour/materials charge to add extra
revolving/emergency doorway to membrane:
£250 |
Please note all prices
are subject to VAT.
Complete dome prices
include membrane, wire rope reinforcing network, one
revolving door, two fans, anchor fittings and
installation labour. Delivery time, accommodation
and mileage will be charged per location. Foundation
work and electrical switchgear are not included. A
concrete ring beam around 750x750mm is required for
anchorage with a 1750 x 1750 x 120mm level concrete
pad central across the beam for the revolving door.
If ground conditions permit, we are able to offer
ground anchors as an alternative to a ring beam.
Replacement membranes are normally required after
four/five years and prices include fitting but not
delivery or removal of the old membrane. We do not
have the facility to dispose of old membranes.
An electronics package is available that includes
fan control panel, switching that will bring in the
second fan if the first fan stops turning and a wind
speed sensor (anemometer) that switches on the
second fan if the wind rises above a preset level.
An auto-start backup generator is available to
combat power cuts and a second panel incorporating
wind speed indicator, internal pressure gauge and
emergency alarm can be installed in the dome.
For seasonal domes a concrete pad is needed
adjoining the ring beam at the same level, to enable
the trolley with dome on to be rolled off court for
the summer. The trolley should then at least be
covered with a solar proof tarpaulin or preferably a
steel/wood shed, which can also house the fans and
electrics.
Fees
Dismantling and re-erection charges are between £400
and £1500 depending on condition, size of dome,
help provided and distance from base. Overnight
stays could double this. A 2-court
requires 3 men & a 3-court requires 4 men.
Terms
35% with order, balance due on day of
erection/delivery.
Delivery
Normally 6 - 8 weeks from receipt of deposit but
longer for September - November installations.
If you require a replacement membrane to be fitted
from September - November, we need to receive your
written order with 35% deposit before the 1st of
June stating your preferred installation date. This
is due to the hectic re-erection schedule we
experience during this period and allows us to
manufacture during the summer months and guarantee
your dome for the coming season.
